Could you start by introducing Diplomatic Network Asia and the core services you provide to your members?
Diplomatic Network (Asia) brings together your network and your net worth. Our offerings create a bridge between quality goods & services providers and the foreign diplomatic community throughout the region.
Diplomatic Network Asia connects influential leaders across the region. How do you facilitate relationships between diplomats, government officials, and business leaders?
We do this through three means: networking events (monthly luncheons, special dinners, movie showings, roundtables); an annual print magazine which is distributed across embassies, restaurants and hotels in Southeast Asia; an online media platform for our readership of diplomats and business professionals.
What are some of the key sectors or industries that Diplomatic Network Asia focuses on, and how do you support business development within these areas?
Our members are diverse: luxury hotels; esteemed restaurants; a catering & logistics company; a car dealer; legal services; a real estate agent; private individuals; and others. Our members, or industries of focus, are those which can meet the demand for specialised goods & services suited to the diplomat abroad. Finally, we facilitate beneficial exchanges between members of our network and make sure they get their mission out there on our media platforms.
In today’s globalized world, what challenges do businesses face when engaging with diplomatic channels, and how does Diplomatic Network Asia help them overcome these obstacles?
Businesses aiming to engage with diplomatic channels encounter a unique set of challenges. First and foremost, any diplomatic community is inherently small and hard to access. Diplomats are busy individuals who value their privacy, making it difficult for businesses to establish meaningful connections. DNA addresses these obstacles by offering a well-established bridge between businesses and the diplomatic community. By facilitating introductions, organising events, and offering insights into diplomatic priorities, DNA enables businesses to engage with diplomats effectively and build long-lasting partnerships that align with both business objectives and diplomatic interests.
